IBPS RRB 2020 Clerk, PO Notification Released – 9640 Vacancies

IBPS RRBIBPS has released a total of 9640 vacancies to appoint candidates to various Officer and Office Assistant posts in Regional Rural Banks (RRB). There has been an increase in the number of vacancies released from the previous year as in 2019. IBPS had announced a total 8850 vacancies for both Officers and Office Assistants combined. The online registration for the 2020 recruitment shall be complete by November 09, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates attempting the IBPS RRB Exam this year must understand the eligibility criteria to the fullest. There are three criteria for the IBPS RRB Exam. They are as follows:

  • Nationality / Citizenship: Candidates must be nationals of India, Nepal, Bhutan.

Age Limit: 

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.07.1992 and later than 01.07.2002

Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1990 and later than 30.06.2002

For Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1988 and later than 30.06.1999

For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1980 and later than 30.06.1999

Education and Experience: 

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and for certain posts, the relevant experience as prescribed by the IBPS.

Selection Process:

The IBPS RRB selection procedure has following Exam Pattern:

  1. Prelims Examination
  2. Mains Examination
  3. Interview Phase

Note: The interview phase in not applicable to those candidates who are applying for the post of Office Assistant. It is applicable only for the posts of Officers Scale – I, II & III.

  • Step 1 – Visit the official IBPS website
  • Step 2 – Register using your mobile number and email id
  • Step 3 – Login using your registration id, which will be generated after you register with your mobile number and email id
  • Step 4 – Fill all the basic details like name, address, etc.
  • Step 5 – Upload necessary documents like photographs, signature.
  • Step 6 – Before clicking on the ‘submit’ button, review the application form to make sure that all the data entered are correct and free of any errors.
  • Step 7 – Select your mode of payment for the payment of the application fee and fill in the details. The registration process will be completed.
